    • Figs are so ripe and sweet, mmhhh! And these little pears are a Mediterranean type that are available by San Juan day (June 24th, summer’s solstice; I don’t know if there’s an English name for that day).

  2. I don’t know either, but some people do celebrate the summer solstice here.
